SERABAN is an African contemporary fashion brand born out of legacy, cultural pride, and a deep love for telling stories through clothing.
At the age of seven, our Founder and Creative Director, Serwaa Abankwa, began her journey selling fabrics alongside her late grandmother in the bustling Nima Market located in Accra, Ghana.
That early bond with African wax prints became the foundation for Seraban, which officially launched in 2009 and was registered as a business in 2017. What began as a passion for textiles has since evolved into a fashion powerhouse, dressing women in Ghana and around the world.
